As part of the Riviera Education Trust, we are committed to supporting school improvement not just within our own schools, but across the wider education system.
We work with a large number of Specialist Leaders of Education, and our CEO is a National Leader of Education. We work closely with the Local Authority, the Regional Schools Commissioner's Office and the DfE, as well as CODE Maths hub (whose lead is our Director of Education) and the local English Hub providing support and expertise for schools when they most need it. We are also a founder member of the local Teaching Schools Hub, Teaching Schools South West.
Some of the work we do is government funded, some is carried out through the Torbay Teaching School Alliance, and other work is commissioned directly by schools who come to us with a specific need.
If you are a Chair of Governors, CEO, Headteacher or subject lead and you would like to find out more about the bespoke support we can offer to you and your school, click on the contact us link at the top of this page and someone will be in touch with you directly to discuss your needs.
Our school to school work has been very successful for many years, but don't just take our word for it, come and see for yourself! Below is an example of what one school thinks about the support it has received:
The entire SLE team from Riviera have been knowledgeable and supportive to our School in challenging circumstances. Stewart as NLE has been able to access funding streams and facilitated opportunities for our staff to develop their CPD. We have valued the friendly approachable manner of this support network.
