Wendy has worked at Oldway and for TTSA, since the school was designated as one of the first 100 schools in the country to achieve teaching school status in 2011. Originally from Hull, Wendy relocated to Devon from her university town of Northampton in 2000. She worked for a short time for Devon & Cornwall Police before taking up a post within the School Improvement Team of Children’s Services at Torbay Council. Prior to this she managed advertising and promotion campaigns for the Corporate Affairs & Marketing department of the University of Northampton.
Wendy has always enjoyed working in education and loves that her current role is so varied and has an impact on teaching and learning in Torbay.
Faye Steele
CPD Administrator
Faye started working with TTSA in 2015; prior to this, Faye's career had been in HR and adult training. Her previous role was as an NVQ Assessor and also assisting in setting up an accredited Training Centre in an Enterprise Agency, primarily supporting Small Business start ups.
Faye welcomed the opportunity to move into a role within the Primary Education sector and is thoroughly enjoying being part of a team that can help to improve learning and learning opportunities in Torbay.
Dee Green
Conference Facilitator
Dee has a variety of roles within Oldway Primary School but also acts as conference facilitator for TTSA, welcoming delegates to events and ensuring they are comfortable and well looked after.
